There are two motifs in this afghan pattern – the more elaborate one was designed in response to a request for help from a fellow crocheter – a lady called Pip wrote to ask if Christine would consider creating a square to match the colorful tiles in her kitchen in Shropshire. Hence the name! It was a daunting idea at first but proved to be an irresistible challenge.
